What is the New Image Boot Camp?
A four-week outdoor program of group personal training designed specifically for women. We also have our second boot camp targeted towards men and women. You are invited to join us no matter what your athletic ability or fitness level might be. Everyone works at their own pace and you are given lots of personal attention and training.
What are the expected results when you complete a four-week Boot Camp?
You can lose body fat, sculpt your muscles, flatten your tummy, define your abs, firm and lift your glutes, tone and slim your legs, improve core strength, increase your stamina, learn new exercises, fire up your metabolism, boost your confidence, be more active and energetic, make new friends, and have lots of fun. Your results will depend on how hard you work in class and adhere to your nutritional plan.
Will I receive personal attention and learn new exercises?
You will receive the same high standard of personal training that we provide in our private personal training sessions. You will learn the most effective exercises for building a more functional, athletic, and leaner body. We work your core, glutes, lower, and upper body equally. We do exercises based on the basic athletic movements the body is designed to do. These movements use all of the body's major muscles. You can not get this type of workout on the typical gym machine. Every Boot Camp session will introduce fresh exercises to challenge you. Would you like to learn the best "old school" exercise for firming and lifting your glutes? How about a cardio drill that burns more calories than your typical treadmill workout? We invite you to join us for a motivating, supportive, and educational experience.
What if I am not very physically fit?
Nobody will be left behind or asked to complete more than they are capable of doing safely. You are in control of the intensity of your workout. No one will go home unchallenged! Women/Men of all athletic abilities and fitness levels are invited to participate. You will inspire and be inspired by others. You will be among friends.
Are you going to scream at me like a Drill Sergeant?
Only if you push us in the lake! Seriously though, we do not respond to screaming and we do not scream at others. Our approach to fitness is educational and motivational. We work personally with everyone on proper form and execution of all the Boot Camp exercises. Everything you learn during Boot Camp can be incorporated into your own exercise program at a later date. We want you to love your results so much that you will dedicate yourself to a lifetime of fitness and health.
What do I need to bring?
You will need to bring a Yoga or Pilates mat. Aloyd Fitness also has a good selection of these mats. Besides the Mat, bring a water bottle and a good attitude! If you have your own dumbbells you can bring those as well.
Where is the location(s) we will meet?
Boot Camps meet in Saanich at Beckwith Park as well as Topaz Park. Choose the time and location that is the most suitable for your needs.
When can I start Boot Camp?
You can start on any of the dates setup on the locations & dates page. Pay for your New Image Boot Camp in advance on our register page with your credit card. If you would prefer to pay with cash or check please use the contact page to give us your information, and we will contact you to confirm your registration and answer any questions that you may have.
Can I repeat Boot Camp for another 4 weeks?
Most of our clients are attending Boot Camp for several four-week cycles. If you love the results you are getting, simply re-sign for another Boot Camp. I guarantee to hold a spot open for all current Boot Camp participants. You will also earn 1 FREE session for re-signing as a loyalty bonus.
What if I'm running late or miss a scheduled New Image Boot Camp session?
If you can't make your usually scheduled Boot Camp, feel free to attend an earlier or later session that same day. If you are running late or need to leave early, no problem. If you miss any sessions because of unforeseen situations we do allow "make-up" sessions. Ideally you won't miss any sessions during your 4-week Boot Camp. We are as flexible as possible for you to achieve your fitness goals. Remember that results will depend on what you put into it.
